CFW 6.38 Minimum Edition for PSP2000 by neur0n


 – What is this?–
This is CFW work on PSP2000.
The degree of stability is still unknown.
Please test it on your own and refer to different people’s test reports.

 

• From 5.00M33 -> OK
• From 5.50GEN -> OK(may need to edit version.txt)
• From 5.50Prometheus -> OK(may need to edit version.txt)
• From 6.20TN-D -> OK
• From 6.20PRO-B4 -> OK
• From 6.35PRO-B4 -> OK

–How to Install–
First, you need to install CFW or HEN(ex. 5.00M33 , 6.20TN , 6.35PRO-B3 , 6.37ME ) in your PSP.
1. copy UPDATE folder at ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
2. Put 6.38 official update at ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/638.PBP .
3. Run installer from xmb.

– features –
Hold R trigger and turn on the psp, you can enter recovery menu.
Hold Home button and turn on the psp, you can Boot OFW.

 – Credit –
This CFW is based Dark_AleX’s 5.00M33.
And usbdev.prx is his own.

Total_Noob has released 6.20 TN-E (HEN) this version is so much more than the other releases. Like the other 6.xx CFW’s this one adds ISO/CSO PSX support and everything else you would expect from TN. There is no perm patch yet on this one. The changelog is below and the download is that of the fix release. Total_Noob removed a few bugs from this mornings release.

How to Install CXMB for 5.50 GEN versions ONLY

You will need 5.50 GEN version for this ( it will work for 5.50 Prome-4 too )

How to Install ( Installation )

1.) Download the CXMB Installer.

2.) Plug in your PSP.

3.) Open the CXMB installer and locate your PSP Driver.

It should look like this :

4.) Click " Install " and wait for the progress to complete.

5.) Disconnect it and go to recovery menu/mode.

6.) Enable the cxmb.prx and exit the recovery menu/mode. 

7.) Add some themes for your PSP and enjoy !

How to install RemoteJoyLite v0.19

 I suggest that you use RJL v0.19 instead of v0.20 and above. Because versions 0.20 is kinda laggy for me ( my opinion ) if not well use it.


Needed Software and Items :

-Custom Firmware

-PSP ( any brand ) ( not sure for 1000 and 3000 )

- USB Cable

-Computer

Steps on how to Install RemoteJoyLite v0.19


1.) Download the RJL v0.19

2.) Plug In your PSP to the computer.

3.) Copy the "Seplugins" folder.

4.) Paste it to the root of your memory stick. ( Not in the MS_ROOT folder )

5.) Disconnect your PSP to the computer ( DO NOT REMOVE YOUR USB TO THE COMPUTER/CPU)

6.) Go to recovery mode and go to plugins. Enable all Remote joy lite ( pops , game and other)

7.) Exit Recovery mode and open RemoteJoyLite_en from the folder "GUI".

8.) Have fun recording videos !
